Hop 0.1.2

A small update to Hop 0.1.1.

Early development. Expect bugs and some rough edges in performance. Please open an issue when something breaks.

The old island and clipper no longer come back after a PC/Laptop restart. The installer now removes the startup shortcuts left by the versions from before Hop, and the apps remove them too when they start. Before, the old versions could start again at the next sign-in, in place of Hop.
Updating closes every old copy. The installer now also closes older copies that ignore its request to quit. Before, they could keep running through the update.

Download HopSetup-0.1.2.exe below and run it. It updates 0.1.0 and 0.1.1 in place and keeps your settings.

A small update to Hop 0.1.0.

Early development. Expect bugs and some rough edges in performance. Please open an issue when something breaks.

Updates take effect straight away. The installer now closes a running Hop Island and Hop Clipper however they were started, and a newly started copy takes over from an older one. Before, the old version could keep running until the PC restarted.
No more grey box around the open island. Windows' grey backdrop could come back behind the island after a theme change. The island now switches it off again.

Download HopSetup-0.1.1.exe below and run it. It updates 0.1.0 in place and keeps your settings.

The first release of Hop Island and Hop Clipper.

Download HopSetup-0.1.0.exe below.
Pick Hop Island, Hop Clipper, or both.
Keep the recommended settings, or choose Customize now to set your city, clip length, fps and more.

Windows 10 (1809+) or 11, 64-bit. No admin rights needed. Windows SmartScreen may warn about a new, unsigned app: choose More info → Run anyway.

Hop Island: an iPhone-style island with music controls, a synced lyric line, prayer times for your city, weather, your clips, and PC stats. A settings app lets you customise every page, with a live preview. Swipe up to dismiss cards and alarms.
Hop Clipper: press F8 to save the last 15 s, 30 s or 1 min at up to 1080p and 120 fps, with system audio. It is light on the GPU so games keep their frame rate.
Both check for updates when your PC starts, and an update replaces the old version while keeping your settings.
